SX-1000 (EW Digital Platform)

SX-1000 (EW Digital Platform)

The SX-1000 EW Digital Transceiver (EDT) is a U.S. Army C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) multi-function software defined radio (SDR) transceiver and processing platform aligned with The Open Group Sensor Open Systems Architecture™, or SOSA™, Technical Standard that operates up to 18 GHz frequency range. The SX-1000 EDT is based on the Spectranetix ComScan® open architecture platform and can be configured to support a variety of Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) missions for both communications and radar signals by installing and configuring ComScan or third-party hardware and software applications needed to execute numerous wireless Radio Frequency (RF) missions including C-IED, ES, self-protect EA, offensive EA, offensive RF enabled cyber, and ELINT on Air, Land and Sea platforms.

Based on the CMOSS 3U OpenVPX platform, the SX-1000 EDT consist of a chassis, power supplies, network switch, timing and clock distribution card and a set of payload cards. There are 7, 11, and 13 slot versions of the chassis that support mission specific payload cards, such as one or more SDR, a Single Board Computer and/or DSP, and GPU processing cards in a typical payload card configuration. Spectranetix or third-party software and firmware applications are installed on the payload cards to meet specific mission requirements.

SX-2000 (Multi-Waveform COMMS Platform)

 SX-2000 (Multi-Waveform COMMS Platform)

The SX-2000 Multi-waveform Communications Transceiver is a U.S. Army CMOSS multi-function software defined radio transceiver and communications platform aligned with The Open Group SOSA Technical Standard. The SX-2000 is a communications specific solution in series of integrated units based on the Spectranetix ComScan open architecture platform and can be configured to support a variety of advanced military communications waveforms and embedded encryption for secure embedded applications. The solution supports TrellisWare TSM™ Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET), Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) combat-net radio, Silvus Mobile Networked Multiple Input Multiple Output (MN-MIMO) radio, common data link (CDL) radio, Link 16 tactical communications, Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) for SATCOM radio, and other real-time voice, data, video, and position location information (PLI) communication technologies. With integration of one or more of these advanced communication technologies using configurable ComScan or third-party hardware and software applications, the SX-2000 becomes a must have for all tactical and strategic communications and wireless networking missions with requirements for improved security, jam resistance, situational awareness, increased data throughput and the capacity of information exchange.

Based on the CMOSS 3U OpenVPX platform, the SX-2000 Multi-waveform Communications Transceiver consist of a chassis, power supplies, network switch, timing and clock distribution card and a set of payload cards. There are 7, 11, and 13 slot versions of the chassis that support mission specific payload cards, such as one or more communication radios, SDR for future waveforms, SBC and/or DSP processing cards in a typical payload card configuration. Whether the solution requires link routing or proactive routing protocols, conference network or security enterprise collaboration, Spectranetix or third-party software and firmware applications such as WinTAK, Mounted Mission Command Software (MMC-S), REDCOM Tactical Secure Voice Teleconferencing, or Cisco virtual router, just to name a few, can be installed on the payload cards to meet specific mission requirements.

SX-3000 (CMFF System)

SX-3000 (CMFF System)

The SX-3000 CMOSS Mounted Form Factor (CMFF) is designed as a U.S. Army system built on a suite of open architecture industry and Army standards to enable the reduction of size, weight, and power - cost (SWaP-C) and ensure commonality across multiple platforms by enabling the sharing of hardware and software components. The SX-3000 is founded on the Standardized A-Kit / Vehicle Envelope, or "SAVE" standard with prepackaged power, networking, and radio frequency distribution. It is based on the Spectranetix ComScan open architecture platform and is composed of chassis and modules to foster the leading Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), using Vehicular Integration for C5ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) open interface standard for data sharing, and for enabling the CMOSS and SOSA standard based Army systems.

A CMOSS 3U OpenVPX platform, the SX-3000 consists of a chassis, power supply, network switch, assured position, navigation and/or timing card, single board computer, and TSM mobile ad-hoc networking and communications card. The system is based on a 7-slot chassis that support up to two additional mission specific payload cards, such as SDR, DSP, and/or GPU processing card in a typical payload card configuration. Spectranetix or third-party software and firmware applications are installed on the payload processing cards to meet specific mission requirements. Third party development and porting are simplified by numerous open frameworks and a proven SDK/EDK.
